Story

Lightweight, prefabricated, and demountable office space

Located within an existing warehouse in Salto de las Rosas, these temporary offices serve an agro-industrial setting with a focus on rapid execution and ephemeral presence. The design employs a 'box within a box' concept, inserting a lightweight, autonomous volume into the existing structure without altering it. The use of steel frame panels with PGU and PGC profiles facilitates rapid construction, leveraging prefabricated elements to optimize time and resources.

Spatially, the offices are organized into a triple bay configuration. The southern bay houses private offices and restrooms, designed with strategic openings for natural light and ventilation. The northern bay accommodates shared offices and meeting rooms, offering flexibility. The central bay, characterized by greater height and luminosity, serves as a circulation, thermal transition, and meeting area.

Materiality plays a crucial role, with an alveolar polycarbonate envelope that diffuses light, creating a soft, luminous atmosphere. This choice of materials dissolves the boundaries between interior and exterior, allowing the space to maintain an autonomous presence while respecting the industrial context.

  • Prefabricated steel frame panels for rapid construction

  • 'Box within a box' concept for minimal structural impact

  • Alveolar polycarbonate envelope for diffused lighting

  • Triple bay organization for functional spatial distribution

  • Emphasis on natural lighting and ventilation
