Modern living room with large windows, suspended staircase, wood and stone elements.

A modern living room with large windows, a suspended staircase, and a mix of wood and stone elements.

Story

A contemporary home that seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings. Set along the edge of a wooded site in Mirabel, Du Corail Residence is a testament to the thoughtful integration of architecture and nature. Designed by Entre Quatre Murs, the home spans three levels, each meticulously crafted to enhance the connection with the surrounding landscape. The exterior's natural stone and wood surfaces extend inward, creating a seamless transition that sets the tone for the entire residence. The main floor is anchored by a living room filled with natural light, thanks to expansive glazing that frames views of the surrounding trees. This openness is mirrored in the dining area, where generous windows make daylight a defining feature. The kitchen, with its pale grey cabinetry and natural wood accents, balances functionality with sculptural simplicity, while the glass wine room acts as a striking centerpiece. A suspended staircase with a glass balustrade connects all three levels, enhancing the home's sense of openness. The upper level houses a serene bedroom with elevated views, continuing the theme of warm wood tones and modern finishes. The lower level offers a games room and lounge area, benefiting from the natural slope of the terrain to maintain brightness and openness.
