Barge Crescent

A home defined by connection and playful volumes Situated in Amsterdam's emerging Centrumeiland neighborhood, Barge Crescent is a residential project by Studioninedots that embodies the spirit of self-expression and sustainability. The design, commissioned by a family deeply rooted in the city, emphasizes connection both within the family unit and with the surrounding environment. The home is characterized by its playful composition of stacked boxes, creating a dynamic architectural form that engages with its context. The house's design responds to the site's unique characteristics, with an emphasis on light and openness. The use of large windows and strategic openings ensures a continuous dialogue between the interior spaces and the external environment.
