Eating Bricks? Bonrepòs i Mirambell
An ephemeral installation questioning the tension between agricultural heritage and urban development.
Located at the intersection of farmland and urban sprawl in Bonrepòs i Mirambell, this installation challenges the viewer to consider the duality of productive landscapes. The project employs brick, a material emblematic of regional construction and urban encroachment, to create a dialogue about the pressures on agricultural land.
The installation features tile walls, arches, and pillars that emerge from the furrows of the land, forming an empty scenography. This architectural language invites reflection on the balance between preserving cultural landscapes and succumbing to urban pressures.
